Looking for hotels in Columbus? is a great place to start. On, it's easy to search for hotels in Columbus. ![]() ![]() I give this place a 3 of 5 stars because the staff was awesome, but not any more due to the over inflated prices and the surprise I which I discovered too late. Not even per day, but each time you went out and back in again. Shock! They had already added a $25 gratuity to the bill (and I gave the delivery boy $10 cash on top of that) Our room was only $189! Oh, and parking is $20. For example, I ordered room service: Ground beef (forgot it at the last hotel for my best friend Winnie) Pasta dish And 2 double shot Gin and Tonics ( it’s been a rough day and I won’t bother you with the details) Total cost $158…. But this place, I can see what they like what they do. I have to say, the staff were friendly enough and for those who follow me know I’m really focused in on people who don’t take any pride in what the do. I did not get this when checking into this hotel. So, when I spend my hard earned money, I expect to get value for what I am spending. I don’t make a lot of money, I’m a Paramedic. Walls that somehow were showing dirt (even though the wallpapering is dark silver striped), and the same upholstery issues with the furniture as in the lobby 5) Bed linens: the stark white sheets clearly offset what were previously the same stark white pillowcases, however the pillowcases were clearly off-white/yellowed and in need replacing Very disappointed. This lack of attention to detail clearly shows in the other issues noted below 3) While the property overall is showing it's age (which would normally be ok), the common areas (lobby, Plaza restaurant, etc) had a distinct lack of cleanliness: having to wipe dead bugs off of tables, upholstery that is coming apart and/or clearly dirt-stained 4) Room cleanliness: bathroom and tiled baseboards severely scuffed, chipped, and/or stained. (The below has also been shared directly with Marriott properties) In order from arrival: 1) Small guest drop off area, without valet, and front desk staff do not consistently guide anyone to the same parking location 2) Front desk staff, while friendly, should not be at a premium property with rumpled and untucked shirts-this also extended to other staff encountered during my stay. There are better options in the same price range nearby. It looked more like the motel 6 next door than a Hilton.ĮXTREMELY disappointing this property may check the boxes necessary to qualify as a 4-star, but it is decidedly not. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Breakfast is not complimentary for every customer, just some? I've never seen this before and I've stayed at many hotels and I'll NEVER stay at one of your hotels ever again. We payed a good amount of money to stay at this runned down hotel, then we weren't even allowed to have the complimentary breakfast which is completely insane. They also upcharged us when we arrived without explanation as a sort of deposit if anything happened to the room. This hotel was so run down, examples: the letters and numbers are rewritten on with sharpie and what looks like fingernail polish, because they had fallen off all over the place, there's MANY patches of wall work from previous holes all over the rooms and some arent even painted over, the carpet peeling up, a lot of things didn't work like some of the outlets in the room, the ice machines (on two floors), the faucet had a constant drip, furniture was scuffed up, the walls all over the building were scuffed and marked up, outside the building was lots of trash, and the elevator wasn't working. I never make complaint but because this was such a bad experience! One of the worst I've ever had! I've always heard that Hilton hotels were so nice.
